Personal style is an ongoing journey and isn’t just fluff. The way we dress can influence the way we feel and the way we are seen by an everchanging world. I am particularly passionate about working with clients who have experienced life or body changes and are seeking a safe and fun space to explore what it means for their wardrobe.

Initial Consultation – $25 (credited toward any future service)
In-Person or Online, 30 minutes
Are you wondering if personal styling or wardrobe consulting from Chrysalis is a fit for you? We will meet online, over coffee, or at your home for a discussion about your goals and dreams for your wardrobe, your budget, your priorities, and your past experiences with clothing. I will share information about my services and propose an initial action plan. Following the meeting, I will send you 3-5 inspiration pics or item suggestions based upon our conversation.
If You Do Nothing Else, Do This Exploration Shopping Trip
*A Chrysalis Signature Service – $275
In person, 3.5-5 hours – Suggested Clothing Budget $400+
Personal Style evolves, and requires nurture. This is what Jen is most known for. Shop with a companion who sees you and wants you to see yourself as the amazing person that you are. Make discoveries. Explore, play, and gain confidence expressing your personal style with a knowledgeable, creative, affirming stylist in a low-pressure one-on-one shopping trip focused on your current needs.
*Based upon your goals and budget, we will visit 2-4 stores and I will serve as your personal stylist offering recommendations, encouraging try-ons, taking notes on style and size findings, and helping fetch items while you are in the dressing room. Our day will include a mid-trip snack/reflection break.
*Within a week, I will provide you some helpful reminders of the findings from our trip plus links for 5-10 additional items that you could consider purchasing.
*Mini Session (2.5-3.5 hours) for repeat clients only – $225
Help Them SHINE!
The Advocate – $225
In-person, 2-3 hours – Suggested Clothing Budget $250+
Designed for parents and caregivers who want to help their teen/client find a wardrobe or an item for a special event, but need some help getting started. I will serve as a stylist, mentor, cheerleader, and educator as we visit 1-2 shops and discuss our findings in a coffee/smoothie break. In addition to helping find a few new wardrobe favorites, my goal will be to help build a confident shopping team in the two of you by tracking what worked and what didn’t, share my knowledge of clothing construction and alterations options, plus discuss tips and tricks for making the most of your budget and options. Following our adventure I will follow up with some online links for items that might be fun wardrobe additions.
Full Closet with Nothing to Wear?!?!
Wardrobe Clean out and Styling Consultation – $375
In-person (recommended), 4-6 hours
Do you struggle finding things to wear in the morning even with an overflowing closet? Maybe you have changed sizes and need to let go of what isn’t working before you can move forward?
*Up to 6 hours assessing the fit and style of your wardrobe and purging items that are no longer serviceable.
*We will discuss clothing donation/consignment options and we will sort any donations.
*We will explore your current favorite pieces of clothing, talk about ways to mix and match, and discuss any need for alterations.
*We will make a basic plan for how you can rebuild your wardrobe, including creating a need/want list for future shopping trips.
*Following the session, you will be provided with a vision board that expresses some ideas discussed in our explorations, as a reference for your further dressing adventures.
*Please note that this package does not include any shopping time, but you will receive $25 off the cost future shopping trips.
Shop Your Own Closet
Mini Closet Clean Out/Wardrobe Planning Session – $225
In-Person or Online, 30 minutes
Are your scarves or T-Shirts out of control? Do you need someone to help you transition your closet to a new season? Are you ready to let go of your “maybe someday” pile but need a second opinion? A mini version of the closet clean-out for smaller closets, repeat customers and those who do not want a full purge.
*We will view your closet and get rid of items that don’t work, identify your current wardrobe needs, and build a basic wish list to provide focus for future shopping trips.
*Please note that this package does not include any shopping time, but you will receive $25 off the cost of a future shopping trips.

The Chrysalis Experience – $2,495
Recommended Clothing Budget – $1,000+
I can’t wait to see how you will shine!
If we haven’t already, we will start with an Initial Consultation, followed by a Full Closet with Nothing to Wear Closet Clean Out and Wardrobe Consultation. We will purge what doesn’t work and talk about ways to style the items that you do have, starting right away. This can be a process and will likely stretch into 2 sessions, with homework for you in between.
In the following days, I will lead you in text and email-based exercises to further articulate your style and start thinking about the details that matter. I will create an online inspiration page where we can share ideas and I can help you define what you like and don’t like, your fashion inspirations, and any practical needs.
Next will be a full-day (up to 8 hours) If You Do Nothing Else, Do This Exploration Shopping Trip. This day will include breaks for meals, snacks and spirited and thoughtful reflection.
Following our first shopping trip, I will provide you with some options that you could order online. After the online purchases arrive, we will meet for our third working session, an updated review of your closet and mini shopping trip. (6 hours) We will review your purchases, plan any alterations trips you will need to make, and play with mixing and matching. Then we will go for an afternoon of further exploration and purchasing. We will finish the day by letting go of any items you were keeping just for practicality and adding alterations to the list.
Over the next year, I will offer guidance and support through attendance at up to two alterations appointments and one year of text-based styling support in the form of answers to your style and resource questions or outfit opinions (please allow 24-48 hrs for response). A third trip, a mini shopping trip to be scheduled in the next year, will also be included. You will also have the opportunity to purchase additional shopping trips at the repeat customer rate.
